All About Us
Our names are Matt and Shelly Raven. In August 2021, we established Raven's Reptile Rescue UK so people can find us when they need help.
We both have many years of experience with reptiles, invertebrates, and amphibians. What started as rehoming one Leopard Gecko turned into a passion. As pet owners ourselves, we understand the bond between pets and their owners.
Though we are a charity, we receive no government funding or support. Any donation, no matter the size, is appreciated and helps us keep the lights on, feed the animals, and ensure their health.
What do we offer
General advice about reptiles, invertebrates and amphibians and their environment.
A rehoming service. We strive to take in reptiles, invertebrates and amphibians that need new homes. We look to find each individual their forever home, no matter how long it takes.
If we are unable to take in the animal, we provide other rescues that may have space.
A rescue service. We aim to ensure that any animal found in an inappropriate environment is relocated to the appropriate environment. We have assisted with relocating Grass snakes found behind toilets and rescuing a lizard found among bananas in a store.
