At Raven's Reptile Rescue UK, we are dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and rehoming small and medium-sized reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. We believe that every one of these amazing and unique animals deserves not only a second chance, but also compassionate care and the opportunity to thrive.
Our rescue is a home-run sanctuary based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. We operate across Peterborough city, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, and Rutland, and can arrange to meet people halfway if they are located farther afield.
Every animal that arrives at our rescue is carefully quarantined and assessed to ensure their health and wellbeing. This process helps us understand their unique needs and personalities, allowing us to find the best possible home for them. While in our care, we provide an appropriate environment, nutritious food, and regular health checks to aid their recovery and readiness for rehoming. If an animal is not suitable for rehoming, we are committed to providing lifelong sanctuary and care.

Shelly & Matt Raven
We have several animals ourselves and now dedicate our "free" time to helping others. We both work full time and use our overtime to fund the rescue.
Driven by a lifelong passion for animal welfare, we started Raven's Reptile Rescue to provide a safe haven for animals in need and to give them a second chance at a loving home.
With years of experience in animal care, we are dedicated to advocating for the voiceless and ensuring every animal receives the care, compassion, and respect they deserve. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals, while also raising awareness about responsible pet ownership and animal welfare issues.
What started with Arty, a Leopard Gecko needing a new home, expanded to a sanctuary.
