Our Permanent Residents
The animals below can't be rehomed due to disabilities, health issues, or extra care requirements. We aim to make their lives as good as possible while they live in our care.

Pacman Frogs.
Meet Gardulla (Female) and Ziro (Male). They came from separate homes, but both came when their previous owner did not have time for them. Gardulla and Ziro both had Metabolic Bone Disorder, which has left them needing some extra care requirements.

White Tree Frogs.
Meet Nevvie (Female), Wakko (Male), Yakko (Male), Norbert (Male) and Dot (Female)
Nevvie & Newton were found abandoned. Wakko, Yakko, and Dot came when their owner was struggling to care for them. Due to either age or care needs they will remain at the rescue.

Corn Snake
Meet Angus Noodle McStrike. Angus came when his previous owner became ill and could no longer provide him with the time he needed. The previous owner had also rehomed Angus, so his age is unknown. Angus had a few behaviour issues, but with time, he has improved.

Scaleless Bearded Dragon
Meet Sandy: they came to the rescue when their owners went to collect a Bearded Dragon and ended up with Sandy. They were not made aware she was scaleless or any of her injuries, so they were not prepared for her care needs and decided to find a rescue. Sandy has a damaged tail, which has now healed. Due to her special care needs, Sandy will remain at the rescue.

River Rust Rump
Meet River. They came to the rescue when their previous owner's children left the home, but the animals remained. River's age is unknown, and due to their lifespans, the rescue will be her retirement home.

Leopard Gecko's
They all have a tale. For Right to left.
Ronnie (Male) - Owner asked us to keep him at the rescue.
Buttercup (Male) - Uquine care needs.
Artoria (Female) - Our first ever Leo who was rehomed to us. She is missing a few of her toes.
Huffles (Female) - Severe Metabolic Bone Disorder on arrival.
Pinkie (Male) - Stuck shed in their eyes, which can recur.
Alduin (Male) - Second Leo adopted and was missing his tail.
Dandelion (Male) - Arrived underweight, very timid and not friendly.
Bluebell (Female). All the signs of Enigma Syndrome

Bearded Dragon
Hades, the blind Bearded Dragon. Hades' previous owner contacted us after a relationship breakdown left them sofa-surfing with their pets. They knew Hades had very little vision and also marking from the adhesive their former partner used on a light in his viv. After a few days settling in, we took him to the vet, who, like us, believes Hades is fully blind. He does not react to light at all and bumps into everything. It took time, but he now knows where everything is in his viv, but he does have to be hand-fed everything.

Pink Bellied Side-neck.
Meet Leonardo Di Swimzie. They arrived at the rescue when their previous owner could no longer care for them. They arrived with a Musk Turtle and a Yellow-Bellied Slider, as their owner wasn't told what species they were. Due to their care needs, they will be staying at the rescue.

Hermann's Tortoise.
Meet Walter. They arrived at the rescue when their owner moved house and was not able to take him with them. Walter arrived with a deformed shell, and his beak was overgrown. Walter did not eat well on his arrival, but with time, he has improved. Unfortunately, Walter is likely to have a shorter lifespan and due to his shell he will remain at the rescue.

Corn Snake
Meet Sid. They came to the rescue when their previous owner worried they were becoming too old to care for their unique needs. Sid is blind in one eye, but as long as his food is not in his blind spot, he can still stike his food. Sid is over 16 years old.
