Our Permanent Residents
The animals below can't be rehomed due to disabilities, health issues, or extra care requirements. We aim to make their lives as good as possible while they live in our care.

Bearded Dragon
Meet Puck; they came to the rescue when their previous owner could no longer meet their care needs. Puck had Metabolic Bone Disorder and Muscular Dystrophy. When he came to the rescue, he struggled to move, but with time, care and the right lights, he has greatly improved. In January 2025, Puck's health deteriorated, and at the vet appointment, the decision was made to let him go to the Rainbow Bridge.

Pacman Frogs.
Meet Gardulla (Female) and Ziro (Male). They came from separate homes, but both came when their previous owner did not have time for them. Gardulla and Ziro both had Metabolic Bone Disorder, which has left them needing some extra care requirements.

White Tree Frogs.
Meet Nevvie (Female), Wakko (Male), Yakko (Male), Norbert (Male) and Dot (Female)
Nevvie & Newton were found abandoned. Wakko, Yakko, and Dot came when their owner was struggling with their care. All of their ages are unknown due to this, and their care needs; they will stay at the rescue.

Corn Snake
Meet Angus Noodle McStrike. Angus came when his previous owner became ill and could no longer provide time for his care. The previous owner had also rehomed Angus, so his age is unknown. Angus had a few behaviour issues, but with time, he has improved. However, due to his unknown age and care needs, he will stay at the rescue.

Scaleless Bearded Dragon
Meet Sandy: they came to the rescue when their owners went to collect a Bearded Dragon and ended up with Sandy. They were not made aware she was scaleless or any of her injuries, so they were not prepared for her care needs and decided to find a rescue. Sandy has a damaged tail, which has now healed. Due to her special care needs, Sandy will remain at the rescue.

River Rust Rump
Meet River; they came to the rescue when their previous owner's children had left the home, but the animals remained. River's age is unknown, and due to their lifespans, the rescue will be her retirement home.

Leopard Gecko's
Their names are Ronnie (Male), Huffles (Female),
Dandelion (Male), Alduin (Male) and Artoria (Female). Most of these Leos are unable to be home due to their behaviours or needing special homes to meet their needs. Huffles has Metabolic Bone Disorder, and Ronnie's previous owners asked us to keep him.

Pink Bellied Side-neck.
Meet Leonardo Di Swimzie. They arrived at the rescue when their previous owner could no longer care for them. They arrived with a Musk Turtle and a Yellow-Bellied Slider, as their owner wasn't told what species they were. Due to their care needs, they will be staying at the rescue.

Hermann's Tortoise.
Meet Walter. They arrived at the rescue when their owner moved house and was not able to take him with them. Walter arrived with a deformed shell, and his beak was overgrown. Walter did not eat well on his arrival, but with time, he has improved. Unfortunately, Walter is likely to have a shorter lifespan and due to his shell he will remain at the rescue.

Leopard Gecko
Meet Pinkie. They arrived at the rescue after their owners tried everything they could to help them with shedding, including seeing a vet, but decided Pinkie needed somewhere more specialist. Unfortunately, Pinkie had shed within her eyes that the eye drops the vet provided only helped so much. Due to how friendly and used to being handled Pinkie was, we were able to remove all of the shed from her eyes. Pinkie is under veterinary care and will remain at the rescue, as this can happen in the future.
